I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to the incredible donors who have stepped up to support the mission of Foothills Food Bank & Resource Center. It’s not just about the contributions; it’s about the spirit of community and commitment that these companies embody. Their support reflects a deep understanding of the challenges our neighbors face, and we are so thankful for their dedication.

I’m thrilled to share that we’ve received three generous donations that will significantly impact our programs and capital building campaign. First, I want to highlight the Diane & Bruce Halle Foundation, which has provided a remarkable grant dedicated to our efforts to assist vulnerable community members aged 55 and older. Programs like Senior Market Monday and our Mobile Pantry are vital for those who might struggle with transportation, and this support will ensure that we can continue to meet their needs.

Additionally, I’m excited about the substantial donation from Thunderbirds Charities aimed at enhancing our programs for children. With this support, we can ensure that young people in our community have access to the food and resources they need to thrive.

Most recently, SolarTech contributed to our Faces of Hope campaign, which is essential for the ongoing construction of our new campus. JT Garrison, SolarTech’s co-founder and CEO, expressed their commitment to community partnership beautifully, and we’re eager to see how our collaboration will evolve as they expand into Arizona.

SolarTech, Halle Foundation, and Thunderbirds Charities join Virginia G. Piper, AZ First Credit Union, and others in committing to the future of the Foothills Food Bank & Resource Center. This collective effort helped the food bank provide essential supplies to hundreds of families as they prepared for the new school year.

Our mission thrives because of the people and organizations that believe in the power of community. Together, we are building a future where no one is left behind, and we are truly grateful for everyone who has joined us on this journey.

With gratitude and optimism,

Leigh
